Calm and serene surroundings. It has a nice track (3-4 kms) where you can get a nice view of the lake with ducks floating around in it! There are public washrooms and drinking water.

Very beautiful romantic park. Plenty of space, fresh clean air. Nice view of the lake. You can also fish for trout. The park has many paths for walking or running. There is also a swing for children and lots of picnic areas. Lovely park for families)

Deer Lake Park is a beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life in Burnaby. It's a lovely natural setting filled with views of the mountains, nature and sounds of singing birds. Excellent trails surrounding the lake and boat rental place near Western parking lot offers kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.

Deer lake park is hot destination for local residents. Great place for kids to have fun , swings, sitting area, parking is hard sometimes but people come and go, so it's not big issue. Great spot for fitness freaks running, warming up, exercise. Nice view of sunset. Come and have view and feel blissful what nature had given us.. Bottom line this place is for nature lovers.
