Cody is passionate about guitar which comes through to his students. My son is loving guitar lessons again because Cody makes it fun but also his lessons are well planned. Additionally, his practice plans have structured how to practice between lessons. My son no longer needs his mom to remind him to practice because he is connected to his learning.

My 12 year old son has been taking guitar lessons at Decode Music for nearly a year. Cody is an amazing guitar teacher. He does an great job balancing teaching guitar theory and learning songs, keeping it interesting and fun. Cody customizes the lessons to incorporate my son's music interests but also introduces him to new music. At other guitar studios I felt rushed in and out of the lesson, at Decode Music Cody cares about how my son is progressing in guitar but is also interested in knowing him as a person. I highly recommend Decode music. My son has made more progress in a year at Decode than in 4 years at other guitar studios.
