I had a wonderful experience recently at Davies Health Care. I received short notice communication that I was going to be admitted to the L.G hospital for a full hip replacement. I had very little time to arrange all the items I needed for my recovery at home. I met with the assistants at the shop and they were fantastic, very knowledgeable and patient. What I really thought I needed was a lift chair. Paul Sangha meet with me and went over the pros and cons. I was considering a floor model, but he suggested another option that was available in another store. I was very interested but I needed it to be delivered the next day. Paul pulled a few strings and was able to deliver it to my home the next morning in time for me to set up my room properly. I can't thank him enough! If you are in need of home health care items, I would strongly advise that you go to their shop and receive the great guidance that I did. When my husband, who has dementia, had to move into long-term memory care after a stroke, Davies Home Healthcare got all of the rental equipment he needed -- hospital bed, wheelchair, walker, shower chair -- moved into his room before we arrived. Since then, Davies has promptly answered all my questions and resolved minor issues whenever they arose. Their professional yet compassionate response made my husband's transition to long-term care easier on him and me. Davies provides excellent service in a professional, friendly manner. It's one of those businesses that makes it a pleasure to live on the North Shore.

Needed to rent a pair of forearm crutches due to a fractured patella. I don't have the upper body strength to use the regular full height crutches. They were very polite and informative on the phone and advised they could deliver the crutches to me within a few hours, at no extra cost. Upon arrival, they made the height adjustment and demonstrated how to use them. Thank you Davies Home Healthcare, for this wonderful service. I would highly recommend this company; so convenient too right across from the emergency at Lions Gate Hospital.

They are alway wiling to help and very knowledgable and personable. This is why I always feel comfortable making larger purchases with them. Because I feel there’s no pressure; as well they are patient which is appreciated.

My husband and I, who live in Washington DC, were visiting family in Vancouver. My husband needed a wheelchair for outings, and Davies was recommended. The staff was extremely helpful, and I rented a new wheelchair for a very reasonable monthly price. Since we were only staying one week, they credited back half the price when I returned the wheelchair.
