I went to David's Bridal Calgary with my Mom, Grandma and sister to shop for my wedding dress for my upcoming Summer wedding. I didn't know what to expect, but I was blown away and had an AMAZING experience that ended with me saying yes to the dress! Our stylist Malorie was awesome, so friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. She was equipped with a print out of my saved favorites from my David's Bridal online account and collected my favorite dresses to try as well as one similar style I hadn't seen online. I really enjoyed the try on process, and in the end, my favorite dress was Malorie's pick which I hadn't considered in my online research! I never though I wanted a lace dress with a train but once it was on me it was another story! She and the rest of the staff were very accommodating and did everything in their power to make sure I could get this dress, the one I liked the most and set my heart on! When I said Yes to the dress, I got to participate in their adorable tradition of ringing a little bell for good luck! So fun and memorable. Thank you so much Malorie and the David's Bridal Calgary team for such a wonderful experience! I can't wait for my dress to come in and do my final fitting, and then wear it on my big day!

I purchased my bridesmaids dress in November (2020) with the help Sarah of who was super kind, friendly, and offered helpful input/suggestions. I just went back today (April 3rd) for my alterations appointment. Alexandra was efficient with the alterations and she was very personable and kind. When I had questions about cup size she was more than happy to provide helpful advice! I am incredible pleased with the service that I have been provided with at David’s Bridal (Calgary location), and I look forward to picking up my dress soon!

I just called and had the pleasure of speaking with Savannah and I can not tell you how simple, easy and stress free my experience just was! I had been trying on dresses at local stores and although found one that I really loved, I could not justify spending 2000.00 on a dress for a simple outdoor elopement. I have been to David's Bridal several times in the past and was always pleased with them. I took a look online to see if I could find a similar dress and found an absolutely beautiful one with stellar reviews at a fraction of the cost. As I live 5 hours from the nearest David's Bridal, I nervously called up to ask about inventory and the possibility of ordering the dress over the phone. To my utter delight, they had the dress in stock, in my size and on clearance! The whole process took 15 minutes and saved me a world of unnecessary stress. As a mother of a two year old and a spouse who works away from home, I honestly could not have had a better experience. Savannah was beyond friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. My only complaint is that I didn't have a chance to work with her in person. The best!! Thank you!!!

Unless you are looking for extra stress and to feel like you don't matter, I would recommend you stay away from this place. Brides, trust me, they're not worth the gray hairs. We made an appointment for two girls to try on dresses, but apparently even that was too much for the staff to handle. The staff who weren't assigned to our party were rude and would push past us to grab dresses for their clients without so much as an \excuse me\. They made it very clear that they only see you as human if you're giving them money. The guy assigned to our party barely ever checked in on us, while giving the party next to us all of his attention. It was to the point that our BRIDE was running around getting different sizes and styles for our girls. Not. Ok. When he did show up he would rush through and not listen. We had to ask him MULTIPLE times in the same conversation to get a different size for one dress because he straight up just wasn't listening. He kept trying to push a sale for whatever the bridesmaid had on and would be visibly irritated when we expressed a desire to even try on the other outfits, let alone ask him for a different one. Not to mention the quality of the dresses...one of the zippers was straight up broken, and other dresses had an embarrassing amount of fraying on the seams. The only reason I'm even giving this store 2 stars, is because everyone else seemed to be getting quality service. So maybe it was just us? Regardless, this is the second wedding I have been a part of that has tried to go through David's Bridal and ended up feeling like trash by the end of it.

This is my long overdue actual review. Sadie was my stylist for that day. She is so accommodating and very efficient! I gave her the style that I want and the budget range that I am into. I have a simple civil wedding garden ceremony and therefore I do not want to spend more than 200 on a dress. She gave me tons of options at the same time recommended something I might love. The whole process for me end up being just 1.5hrs and narrowing it down to a dress that cost me 135 including taxes! Such a steal! If i need to come back for my sister's bridal gown shopping I would definitely ask her to request Sadie! \u003c3 Side note: This is actually from the bridesmaid section but it is lovely!
