Came with my sister-in-law for a bridal fitting this morning and she said yes to the dress! It was really busy for the middle of a pandemic and we were really nervouse about bridal shopping right now but the wedding is coming up soon but our girl was wearing gloves and everyone was wearing masks. We saw them cleaning chairs and doors for other appointments which made us feel a little better. I forget our girl's name but she was so nice and helpful. Can't wait to work with her again for our bridesmaids dresses.

I booked an appointment last minute to look at some bridesmaid dresses. I didn’t have a lot of expectations as the last ones my girls tried on weren’t right. Cassandra allowed us to pick out a few first. Then while the girls were trying them on, she was super helpful and brought over dresses she thought we might like. Turns out I found the Maid of Honour dress and bridesmaid dresses! We even got suggestions on alterations. I am so happy to I went there! Since David’s Bridal is nation wide, my bridesmaid in BC was able to visit the location there, try it on and order her size. It all worked out so well! Thank you Cassandra!
I am seriously upset with the service from this location. I purchased a bridesmaids dress from the Hamilton store and it had come in and was ready for pickup. I picked up the dress and everything was fine until a few days later I took the dress in to get hemmed. There was a large spiders nest INSIDE my dress (a dress that came in a sealed bag from David’s which was not opened until I arrived at the seamstress.) There were hundreds of baby spiders crawling all over the inside of my dress (including the mother spider). I called David’s bridal and I asked them if there was anything they could do or suggest and they said take it to be dry cleaned at my own cost. I’m not suggesting the spiders nest was anyone’s \fault\, but it sure was disgusting to pay over 200 for a dress covered in spiders and the only compensation I got was advice to “take it to a dry cleaner”. Wish they took a little more pride and responsibility for their work. Also, I have taken the dress to two different dry cleaners so far and they both have said they prefer not to handle something like this. So I am now at home trying to get as many spiders off of the dress as I can before I can even get a dry cleaner to agree to take it. UPDATE: they commented on this review with an email saying they wanted to correct things, I emailed right away and never heard anything back.... UPDATE 2: after two years I can honestly say they never contacted me back about resolving.
I truly enjoyed my experience at David’s Bridal. The store was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable here, and the staff did not pressure me in any way during the bridal dress appointment. The only downfalls were 1. there wasn’t as much dress selection as I was hoping for, and 2. I was only able to try on dresses that I picked...not sure if this was due to the 1 hour time limit but I wished my stylist had also had the time to pull suggestions for me. Still, it is worth checking out the store.
Thank You again for your help and friendly service. I found my dress and absolutely LOVE it. My matron of honour got the dress of her choice also. I had a budget for both dresses and stayed within it. I was not pressured to look at or purchase a dress that was outside of my budget. The store was very clean a covid protocol was absolutely followed. Thank you Emily for your help!!! We'll see ya again soon for our alterations.
