I hired this company based on the good reviews. The price was very reasonable. The staff trimmed our huge evergreen tree on our front lawn. They also disposed of all the branches and cleaned up after the job was done so that it seemed they had never been there. The tree looked great afterwards. I would definitely recommend this company!

Matt was the lead in this two man team who came to remove a very large Mulberry Tree, remove a large branch from high on a Siberian Elm and trim cedars and 3 large Pines. They were efficient, did a fantastic job and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. I felt the price was very reasonable for what turned out to be a full days work. Would recommend using the Pickering Davey Tree and will definitely use in the future.
This review does not reflect any services/products from this company. The location in Toronto (Scarborough) has unprofessional and careless drivers. From not signalling, to making a left turn in front of me when I was crossing at a green light (at a marked intersection) near Birchmount/Eglinton area. The disregard for other motorists and pedestrians is scary. It's time for head office to get these highly-paid arborists in their big trucks off their high-horse and back into the classroom for driver etiquette.
This is the second time we have used Davey, Pickering. That in itself says something. Today they were taking down two trees, one in the middle of my front garden. They removed and tidied up the first tree, then broke for lunch. I left for 3/4hr for an errand, and when I came back, the second tree was down, and mostly cleaned up. They had cut their lunch short because black clouds moved in, and by the time they drove away, the rain had started in earnest. As before, they are pleasant, respectful and very professional. And, though the crews that have been here don’t control it, the pricing is very reasonable as well.
Matt and Bill arrived on time this morning and removed the tree branches and trimmed our hedge like perfectionist. Could not have done it better my self. Top recommendation.
