Surprisingly sexist. I applied for a driving job here. While on the phone the FEMALE recruiter asked why I was thinking of going back to long haul from my day cab job. I explained part of my situation and told her that it made the most sense to me financially. She then said that she was surprised that a woman would give up a regular day job for the road and suggested that I belonged at home with my family. I have no kids and my family all lives in SW Ontario, both of which are besides the point. I was too appalled to keep my appointment with her. Clearly not a company I want to work for!
