This has been a mainstay in our family for Christmas ver 45 years since I worked in the area. Great baked goods of all types. Even when they changed owners a couple of years ago the transition went smoothly. It has been a tradition for most of those 45 years to have their amazing chocolate Danish ring for Christmas breakfast. Even now with my kids married they also get once for Christmas. This year when I called to order them I was told they would not be making them. They did not have enough bakers so they cut back. Of all years! If there was a year when they are needed, this is it. I know, from discussions with many people over the years, we are not the only ones who like them. Very disappointing to say the least. I always looked forward to their display of baked goods at Christmas. The only good thing is I will save gas from not driving in from Burlington.
Croissants, custard tarts and any bread off the display shelf are the go to moves here. Best bakery by in Pape Village.
Adorable party shop with tasty goodies that are perfectly presented. We had the chocolate balls that tasted like maraschino cherries/amaretto. They were rich and delicious. Even my boyfriend loved them and he doesn't generally love sweets. Looked super clean!
Two words: chelsea buns. They also have very good sausage rolls. Think about coming here to get a treat for someone for a special occasion. They need your business more than ever. Great service too!
