Cakes are delicious! Presentation is also very well done. Have tried several cakes from here over the years and have yet to try one that was not enjoyable. Some may say it’s on the smaller side, but I beg to differ, the serving size is perfect for us. The cake box is also quite sturdy and done well, ergonomic to carry with ease. Recommend ordering ahead of time to ensure what you have is available, but have on occasion dropped in without an order to find a fair selection of cakes available.

Have gone to this cake place twice. It was recommended by a friend saying that the cakes here were very good as the chef here was in a competition and was ranked very high. It is absolutely true. The quality and the looks of their cakes are excellent and are not that sweet. Their macarons are very good too. The prices are a bit high but the quality probably makes the price worthy. I feel very glad for them that they are doing so well. Long lineup and waiting time even though you have ordered online ahead of time. Would have granted the last star if they can improve on their management of handling orders and serving customers.
Cookies... 2 reg for the fam and 1 vegan for the old man... scary thing is it doesn't taste like the usual vegan fare I get when I hunt for desserts... very tasty. Those macaroons however are out of this world imo... chewy and fresh taste even days after buying (we've bought these before) personally surprised they last that long in our house and on the coffee...wife knows yours truly is a fan so she picked a couple up. Supposed to be a choice item for the shop... and though it may not be within the confines of vegan-dom... I'll chill for a bit and have a treat. And fyi... heads up on any possible covid-19 related line as we experienced in lovely -19c weather... and to be expected, crew at daan go is on point... we were in lickity split... er that's fast in today's terms Cheers all
Pleasent experience from daan go cake lab. Pre-ordered the mango-passion fruit cake and macaroons for my sister’s birthday. Confirmation was right away. Pick up instructions were easy to follow online. Picked the downtown location( baldwin street) The cake was soo pretty, macaroons were too and with lots of flavours to choose! Love the perfect balance of the cake, not too sweet or sour, just the right taste. Very light and refreshing despite being a “ cheesecake”. Looking forward to come back to try out other flavours.
We ordered a cake a couple weeks ago and it was phenomenal. So good, in fact that we ordered some macaroons last week. Amazing presentation, taste and customer service. Very reasonable prices. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning for many more visits.
