Got some work done by these guys and was not super impressed for a few reasons. To start I was not informed that my window would not be replaced until after they started doing the other requested services (timing belt, fluid replacements) to my car and not in any the conversations that took place over the few weeks before my appointment as far as I was led to believe. Had I known they werent going to do the whole job I would have went elsewhere. They also failed to provide a quote prior to the work and charge on the upper side of what is reasonable for a particular job despite being told that I would be emailed one. The entire time they worked on my car I had to call in as they did not provide the updates they said they would provide throughout. They also failed to adequately fill my coolant after flushing the system (charging a crispy 118 nonetheless) resulting in a near overheat situation on my way home. Following this experience they decided to mail a letter with a 2 scratch off ticket which to say the least left a sour taste in my mouth. To respond; pretty hard to get a verbal quote when the vehicle was dropped off the night before in a contactless manner. If you guys had such a hard time finding things that would work the honorable thing to do would have been to decline my business. The window work was part of the initial appointment booking and was mentioned in emails leading up to the appointment. Your deflection to any responsibility is a pretty good indicator of how you guys run your shop. Good mechanics don't accept work that they are unable to accomplish and are transparent about what service options are available, they. Provide quotes and updates proactively. If you knew so little about my car that you guys were having a hard time then why did you accept the work? Had I known the service would be so sketchy I'd have done the work myself or (gladly) went elsewhere.
