Was always a big fan of this shop until most recent ownership. Has always been a staple of the valley which is likely why the new owner didn't change the name. Sadly the small town feel and warm customer service faded away quickly. I am happy to pay a little more to support local but sadly the business seems focused on marks up instead of customer service. Hope the business realizes every customer is now more important than ever.

Myself and moreso my lifelong vinyl hound partner have been customers of bop city for close to two decades. He has always loved this record store and all the owners, especially the most recent ones. Always fair and current prices, good eclectic selection and Kip always goes out of his way to help you find what you are looking for and makes you feel welcome. Great store!
Great shop with so many gems! We always find something when we go in. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, especially during CoVID where they created an on line catalogue customers could browse and order from, as well as ordered me a bunch of records I wanted for a gift for my husband. I love Bop City!
An oasis of culture in this community. Kip and Karen provide intelligent and considered selections and recommendations in a warm and inviting setting. Kali and Krin add the love! My home away from home!
A couple of years ago my husband and I stopped at Bop City and were presently surprised with the selection, prices and cool atmosphere. At that time we just purchased cds. Most recently when covid hit we acquired a record player and contacted them regarding purchasing some records. They were quick to respond and sent us a list of their inventory. We have since ordered three times by mail and it was smooth sailing. They are professional and friendly and I highly recommend supporting this small business.
