Completely helped me with my problem and told me the truth about my transmission.....it was broken at all! Most of us don't understand the inner workings of a car, and we trust honest professionals to tell us what's wrong. Jim is that kind of guy. Going elsewhere in Halifax for my car repairs is now off the table. Jim and his guys are my shop. Thank you Jim!

Great service. My car was back on the road in no time.
He never honers his warranty , gave me a 40,000 km warranty on his transmission work and refuse to fix it when my vehicle broke down at 28,000 km, gave me a whole lot of attitude , I wanted to take him to court but that would just cost me more ! I do not recommend !
Took my car in to get my transmission fixed approx. 3 yrs ago. Since then, i have had no problems with my transmission. I recently returned with an unrelated issue with my car and they were able to resolve the problem. Great service! Definitely recommend!
Cottman's staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. You feel valued as a customer with the service they provide. Any issues with my vehicle, I go there because when my car is fixed, it's fixed. Good service, and competent honest mechanics, that works for me! I highly recommend.
