I have nothing nice to say about this detachment in coquitlam, and reading your reviews confirmed my opinion on your officers behavior and attitudes. I deal with police daily and never have met such a bunch of rude arrogant police with zero personality and no understanding for basic human interaction and this is troubling because the job is human interaction! Scary to think this is who is hired to protect and serve us.

My house was broken into about 8 months ago, and my laptop was stolen. Cops then found the stolen laptop, 6 months ago and have yet to return it. After calling the station the administration staff always act surprised that the laptop has still not been returned lol and direct me to the number of the cop in charge of the \investigation\. I've left several emails and voicemails with this \waste of tax money cop\ who doesnt bother to do his job and respond, meanwhile my 1500 macbook depreciates in value as it either sits in the station or maybe the cop himself decided to keep it. I wouldn't put it past a person who's livelihood is dedicated to giving the working class traffic citations and who has achieved one of the lowest and easiest accolades in life (becoming a cop) to steal a stolen laptop. Great work guys.

I was flying my drone and this guy came up to me and he's like you can't fly here. And I told him, I can. He then proceeds to show me laws that are to come into effect June 1st 2019 (in 4 months) (even which under those new laws, I would still be flying legally). He was very rude and threatening to me. So he calls 911 since this is such a life threatening emergency. He was on the phone for a really long time. He had real difficulty convincing the 911 operator to send units but he insisted that they send a police officer. So two cops show up. He's all there thinking they're gonna arrest me. Cops talk to me for 2 minutes say you can go back to flying your drone. At least the RCMP in Canada are nice to deal with unlike the public when it comes to drones.
