I went there last Saturday. The hike it’s self was easy to moderate in difficulty. The view from up is spectacular. The trial on the lake side is just beyond beautiful.

Perfect hike. Lots to see. Some steeper areas. Kids loved the climbing terrain. Took us longer because I was taking pictures but only a2 hour hike if you walked without breaks.
Came on Saturday, 7/04/2020 at 10:15AM and main parking lot was already full so had to park on the side road. Passed by lots of families from children to seniors. Some parts of the trail were damp and muddy from the recent rain. It took about 3 hours to visit the Low and High Knoll, stop for breaks, and loop back to the parking lot. There are signs at every junction so you will know your way. Highlight of the trip was seeing a Western Painted Turtle chilling on a log! Bring water and snacks to fuel up for the hike to High Knoll. Bring sunscreen as certain parts of the area are not shaded. Be aware of black bears especially if you are going in the early morning. I had an awesome time with family and friends. Thank you Metro Vancouver for maintaining this beautiful ecological park!
Beautiful wide open spaces with hiking trails and mature trees all in one gorgeous place. Close to the city but it feels really far away. Saw ducks, frogs and other birds in the marshland. Wish we had gone with more time as it was getting dark and we didn't want to chance getting stuck on the trail. Wear good walking shoes or hiking boots. Uneven terrain can be challenging. We went in dry weather. Would be much more precarious if wet.
A great hike of variable difficulty (depending on the viewpoints you choose to visit and whether you decide to go for the full-length hike or try the shorter loop). Along with the spectacular foliage, flowers and fungi, expect to see plenty of wildlife, including frogs, birds and even snakes (as seen in one of my photos). From the topmost viewpoint, the landscape is spectacular, you can see for miles around and catch a glimpse of the river, forest and city beyond the park. Definitely worth the effort it takes to get to the peak.
