The store is well stocked and they carry plenty of products and raw food choices. But to be honest, we NEVER shop here unless in a bind to get our dog's raw food as otherwise we need to go into Burnaby. When we run out unexpectedly we come here to pick up small bag to tie us over. I am giving this place 2 stars, as 5-6 times we came here, service has been abysmal. Staff seems to exist in different time continuum - there is absolutely no urgency to serve customers at the till. Staff will literally wonder off in the middle of helping you with purchase and not come back for 5-7 minutes. I really wouldn't care if it happened once or twice, but it happens every time, with minimal customers in store. Average checkout time with 1-2 people in front of you WILL take 30 minutes and this is not an exaggeration. We need to learn our lesson and just drive to Burnaby - it would take less time. Today was latest experience with 2 people in front, each had 1 item, the girl helping one of the ladies walked off to do something with the product as she could not seem to get it scanned. Came back after 2-3 minutes, then had no luck with scanning again and walked off without saying anything again....this time not returning for about 5 minutes. Another employee wondered out from the back, looked at the 3 people waiting for checkout then went back to doing whatever she was doing. One of the ladies in front just called her out and said they needed to call the other employee who hasn't returned. I think the threat of having to come here will keep us better stocked with food and not run out of it.

I’ve visited a few times, trying to give them multiple chances before making a judgment, but each time I am disappointed. The only positive in this store is that they have fairly good quality products, and have a decent selection. The negatives: poor customer service, there’s always been two staff members, but only one is ever helping customers and the second is standing around. Most of the staff seem uninterested in the job, and are not paying attention to the customers and each time (literally) while I’m being helped, the staff member stops and starts another non-urgent task (like taking a 5-10 minute phone call), leaving me waiting longer. not a huge negative but prices are higher than most other stores with the same products.
