Sneaky contract that roped our company into 6 years of ongoing business, unless you pay what they call \liquidated damages\ for returning the equipment that you no longer need. Make sure if you enter into a contract with this company that you mark on your calendar six months before it rolls over to give them notice or they will screw you. This happened to us twice in a row being unaware the first time and trusting the billing department a second time that we only needed the bin from month to month.

The City of Coquitlam should figure out a better service to use. These folks are awful. Suddenly decided my carboard boxes were \too big\ to take this week. Even though they were broken down and folded and they took similar sizes ones the week before. Gal on the phone was polite, kind and helpful. Company seems to like to function on their own arbitrary terms though.

Because of smithrite I no longer composte. Been composting for a long time now because I wanted to do better for the environment. Smithrite never fully takes my composte, there's always left over and what an I suppose to do? It just collects in there and it makes it worst for the next time they collect, so I end up cleaning it out and throwing it in the garbage anyways! What's the point! They should just install those machines that left the garage bin cause at least the machine knocks it a few time to get all the composte and garbage. These guys want even do that.
Based on the bad reviews we were cautious on how we would deal with them on the phone since we needed a new blue bin and yellow bag after neighbors stole ours lol. But we were actually surprised of the outcome a lady answered our phone call and she was really friendly and helpful. We haven't really experience anything bad with their service or drivers. To be be honest the drivers are doing their jobs really well. This I know because I usually take out the garbage and recycling out.
