I don't know what sadist designed their e-konsulat functionality but it is downright cruel. Appointments for the following week are only available at 4:00pm every business day and there are just two slots. Within seconds the option to make an appointment is gone. If you are not online and viewing this page immediately at 4:00pm each weekday and you do not possess godlike page refreshing skills it is impossible to reserve an appointment. Yet the consulate is appointment only.

I believe they should get the award for the worst staff ever, rudest people in the world, they are not willing to help or answer your concerns properly. Especially the visa’s lady everyone knows we should try to avoid contact her unless it is required! If you do not need to go there DONT ever think of going! They need to reeducate these people about how to treat visitors and their own citizens as well! No to forget they NEVER answered a phone call even the operator lady? I don’t know why they are working there then!? NOTE: attached below the requirements for student and tourist visa! And working hours!!

Possibly the worst consulate on earth. The Visa department is comprised of one very rude women. They never answer the phone. The consulate staff should all be removed form their posts.

Had to renew my passport during the COVID period. From March to June it was understandably closed except for urgent matters with appointment. In July they made available an on-line appointment tool. I booked an appointment for end of July. I arrived and had no wait. The staff was professional and polite and followed proper safety procedures. I was done in less than 15 minutes. I was told my passport would be ready for pick-up in 6-8 weeks and was given a number to check on-line for status. Today I saw it was ready in only 5 weeks!
