Today my husband and I went into the Greek consulate to make an appointment for a national visa. We were surprised to see that Ms. Anna Karamaroudis was alone there, answering phones, assisting clients, and doing interviews. And all while being absolutely delightful to chat with. She was so lovely! She was extremely helpful to us and we feel assured that our time with her was the next step we need to get our national visa. Thank you, Anna, for such a wonderful experience today!

I would like to extend my gratitude towards Anna Karamaroudis from the Consulate General of Greece - Vancouver. I walked into the Consulate in Vancouver to book an urgent appointment for a travel visa to Greece. She was working alone in the office whilst her staff were on holiday. She was fully booked until September with visa appointments and had mentioned that if I came back later that day with all my documents then she would do whatever she could to help me with the visa application. I came back with all my documents and she assisted me. We talked about South Africa as I am South African and she lived there for years working for the Greek Consulate. It was such a surprise to see her working alone doing everything from answering the phone calls, answering the door to conducting the interviews for the visa applicants. Anna’s work ethic is admirable. She’s helpful, professional, friendly and has excellent customer service. Thank you again Anna for your top notch service. Sincerely, Michael

Had to come here to get citizenship for myself and my kids. Anna and the staff were wonderful to deal with especially since I didn't speak Greek. She made every effort to ensure I understood everything. After reading some other reviews all I can say is that you have to understand that things take time and you are not the only person they are dealing with and if they happen to be rude to you is probably because you went in with an attitude to begin with. You get what you give. Thank you very much Anna. See you soon for passports.

Having been a frequent visitor at the consulate, i would like to say that i have had very good experiences. All the officers at the consulate were very helpful, respectful and willing to go the extra mile to assist me and my family. Even when i reach out to them over the phone or email - I was always able to get in touch with someone or gotten back to.

I've been working with Anna Karamaroudis this past 6 months on acquiring Greek Citizenship. She has been nothing but spectacular! Our situation was a little complicated as it required us to first register my father's family tree, and from there, register my own and begin the process of acquiring citizenship. My Dad and I went down to the consulate from Kelowna to complete his paperwork and Anna was a rockstar. We were there for an hour and a half, my Dad was comfortable (he's 92), charmed and extremely impressed with Anna's ability to process our documents, answer questions non-stop with co-workers at the consulate and all the while maintain an entertaining conversation with us both. Against all odds she was able to complete my father's registration in just two months. Without her experience, Greek contacts, long hours and willingness to keep trying we would still be waiting. I went back down a few weeks ago to complete my end of the paperwork now that my Dad's is done, and it was exactly the same amazing experience. Next step will be a passport once the wheels of government complete their slow, methodical turns (hopefully 8-10 months). She will be leaving soon for a new posting in Greece and it was her objective to complete all the files she had started before she left. I am ever grateful that I was one of those files! Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ, καλό ταξίδι
