After paying my credit cards off in 3 years and now 1 year after being told it went to collections. And it will affect my credit for 6 YEARS. I'm disappointed in there lack of help. It made no difference to go bankrupt then to pay these guys off. If you want to lose 10 years of credit and not be able to buy anything, go with them. Of course they will help you, they don't care about your future just the now. My credit wasn't bad when I started just couldn't keep up with the payments, it was around 690 now it's 564 and not moving at all.

I was assured up and down that this would not affect my credit. I asked several times, and was told over and over again that it wouldn't. Well it did. I was only in the program for a few months, consolidated my loans so I could finish renovating my house, sell it and move to another province more quickly than I had anticipated. I sold the house and paid everything out, but my credit is ruined. And will be for 6 years. Fantastic. If they can't educate their staff on how their own system works, and the effect it will have on people's lives and credit, they shouldn't be in business. I've spoken to both credit reporting agencies, as well as any creditors involved in the initial process, and no one can do anything about this now.

All I know right now is that those that I have spoken to have been extremely helpful and polite. I've barely started the program so can voice an opinion on that part. Big relief off my shoulders tho. Thanks.

It certainly does look attractive , however ruined my credit. From 780 to 560. They do not disclose that the creditors you consolidate, report your debt 'in collections' or 'written off' . During the application process I asked several time if consolidating would have a bad effect on my credit score and I was reassured that it does not. Not a good experience at all. I do not recommend.
