Ascott Parc is a lovely venue. The garden was my favourite, very spacious. My experience of Jay was very positive. I found him to be very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He provided me with all of the necessary information required and was very detailed in making sure he covered all the aspects that was on my priority list. He was passionate about staying within my budget and allowed me time to decide. I highly recommend booking and meeting with Jay.

I found Ascott Parc at a bridal show back in late 2016. I booked my wedding 2 years in advance and got the last spot. The food was incredible, the braised beef ribs fell off the bone and for those with food allergies, the chefs are able to accommodate them. The gazebo outside was beautiful, there is a waterfall in the back and it is very breathtaking.

We had our wedding ceremony inside the tent at Ascott Park, followed by a beautiful lunch reception outdoor in September 2020, and it was wonderful! Both Melanie and Jay were such a pleasure to work with, and really went above and beyond for our family. They addressed all of our needs and took care of everything. Melanie and Jay are extremely personable, and I enjoyed all of our chats prior to the wedding. Ascott Park is a beautiful facility, and being able to take pictures on site following the wedding was extra special. You feel as though you are somewhere else on the grounds of the park, even though it was only 25 minutes from our houses. Thank you to the whole team at Ascott Park for making our 2020 wedding come together like magic!

As lovely as this wedding venue is we unfortunately are going through a horrible experience. Our wedding was booked for end of June 2020. At this time Ontario had restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic restricting outdoor weddings to 50 people in Vaughn. I called the owner to discuss the possibility of continuing with our scheduled wedding date with a decreased amount of people to accommodate with the government restrictions. At this time we were told that the venue was closed and not prepared for the required government changes and we could not hold our wedding there. Understanding this, we proceeded to change venues and have our wedding elsewhere. Due to the complexity and unexpected nature of the pandemic our contract has no information about how we as the consumer are protected against the venue choosing to breach the contract. When we later asked for a refund of our initial deposit the owner declined and offered to reschedule the venue date to 2021. When we explained that we already got married and the contract was breached by Ascott Parc the owner encouraged us go go legal thinking that we wouldn't. We further tried to negotiate by pushing the reschedule date to 2022, but they said there would be an INCREASE in price and asked for ANOTHER deposit. We are thoroughly disappointed and upset with how we've been treated and now have been forced to deal with this issue legally to get our money back. We would not recommend booking with Ascott Parc as the management is nonaccomdating and if any unforeseeable circumstances occur you will definitely lose your money.
