We were in need of ear-loop masks, and we noticed that Acmedent carried what we were looking for and were also having a promotion of buy 3 get 1 free; therefore, we placed an order for 3 boxes (50 masks a box), at 18.45 per box yesterday afternoon (Jan 27th). We received a confirmation email stating the payment was received at around 3pm. We checked the Acmedent website the same night, and noticed they raised the price from 18.45 to 79.99 a box (\u003e4 times price increase!!!), but still indicated buy 3 get one free on the product page. Today, I received a call from Acmedent, telling me that the promotion of buy 3 get one free was no longer valid, and asked if we wanted to keep or cancel the order. I told her I wanted to keep the order of 3 boxes, even though they cannot honour the promotion which clearly was still available last night. Then she told me the ear-loop masks were on back order, and she did not know when they will become available. I confirmed with her that I would like to keep the order, and if I am able to find another supplier, I will call back to cancel the order if needed, and she said that is fine. ** We wondered if the ear-loop masks really are on back order?! Or they just want to cancel my order so that they can first fulfill those that paid 79.99 a box?! Either way, this is definitely not a right business model - cannot honour the promotion and raise the price by 4 times. For sure there is a doubt in integrity of the company!
