I always wanted to get in Sheridan animation but didn’t know where and how to start. I found ACE art studio and ask Katya if she could help because I didn’t have a lot of time. And just in three month I noticed a big improvement. Now I feel like I understand animation much better. Katya explained everything very well and she was always ready to answer any question or help with any task. Despite the fact that there are quite a lot of students, Katya managed time very well so everybody had a work to do and time to discuss their projects with the teacher. Atmosphere at school is also great, motivating and friendly. I never expected that school time could be so enjoyable. Teacher was really supportive. At my first class at studio and I have already started to fell much more motivated then before. Now I got all chances to get into Sheridan and all because of ACE Art Studio. I wish I could stay there a little bit longer. Thank you Katya for everything!

It was my dream to learn oil painting. I am happy I found Ace studio. I was surprised how quickly I started progressing. Katia is very patient, soft and attentive. She has individual approach to every student. She has great personal qualities that students love her for. I always get compliments on my work.
Thanks to ACE Art Studio and Katya, my daughter got accepted to ALL highly competitive art programmes at Canada's top universities as well as to two most coveted Sheridan Animation and Seneca Animation programmes. My daughter joined ACE Art Studio's portfolio preparation classes in September 2019, never attending any art school or classes outside of her non-art high school. She was worried that other students have already done some of the pieces for the portfolio and she was starting really late, but Katya assured her that she has time if she is willing to put effort to work on her art. Katya is very passionate about art , animation and truly a great teacher. She provides true feedback on her students' work with no sugar coating. If you want your portfolio to make it you need to be able to take criticism and guidance to improve your art. Most or often ALL of ACE Art Studio's portfolio preparation students get accepted to Sheridan and/or Seneca Animation, illustration programmes year after year. After just 5 months at ACE Art Studio my daughter's art improved tremendously and it is all testament to Katya, her guidance and critique. She provides guidance and so much motivation to her students that allows them to achieve success. If you are considering portfolio preparation lessons, make sure to check how many students out of the programme get accepted. ACE Art Studio has a proven track record of its students success year after year.
