I’m a bit biased. I have worked for this company for over 6 years and have enjoyed it. I have come to understand that people truly do care, and as others have mentioned, it is important to understand your policy and what is covered and what is not covered. Not all policies cover everything. That being said, there are some policies that really are quite unique in their offering. If you are self-employed and have been denied coverage in the past simply because you don’t pay yourself a wage in a typical way, this is a company to consider doing business with.

Most of the reviews seem to be based on people’s experiences with their agents. That’s too bad, because the company is actually really great! Between my husband and I, we have had policies with Combined since November of 2017, and have already submitted seven claims and been paid for all of them! We even got paid twice for bad bruising my hubby got from playing sports. I don’t know any other company that would do that. I think it comes down to two things: 1. Did your agent spend the time to explain exactly what is and is not covered? Or how each covered thing gets paid? Did they make sure you actually understand it? Mine did, so there were no surprises. 2. The time it takes to pay the claim. About half of our claims were paid within two weeks. The other half had extra documents that we needed to submit (like reports from the hospital, X-rays, etc.) and we had to wait for doctors to send them in for us. We were told that Combined has 15 business days to process new information for claims, and that was a bit annoying, but only two of our 7 paid claims took that long. The others were paid out long before that. If anyone wants to contact me personally for more of our positive experiences, please do. I can’t say enough good about this company.
