Collins Bay is an amazing school. I love it so much! It is a small school, but everyone knows everyone! The teachers are really positive and helpful.

I didn't learn anything that I already knew, and it's budget and population is extremely low. even for a small school, and theres like 2 sports.. I spent almost 10 years going there. I just started high school and I won't miss it. last year was the worst. I'm surprised the school isn't for sale or shut down. from what I was told by now former students that they hated the school and now that they are in different schools including myself, they all like the new school a lot more. including me. I don't recommend going here or putting your kids here. there are way better schools out there.
ok. I've been here since day 1 in 2007. I highly discourage parents putting their children here. you don't really learn much and there is a ton of bullying there. and most of it isn't the grade 7-8 students (there are only 2 grade 8s). the grade 6s are the worst and there was a threat 2 years ago, and I'm pretty sure that 97% of the kids have some sort of mental illness (I'm not against that but someone might not be too fond of that). I'm graduating in a month and everyone that was at the school 10 years ago have either left years ago, within 2 years and (me and 3 others) now. So as of now, no kid has been there for more than 5 years.
I went here in 2007. I went through hell for 10 years! now, theres a graduating class of 2! 2 people!!!!! this school has less kids than there are grade 9s in my school. (we have 200. they have 60 for 10 grades). average kids per grade is 6! Yarker has a better average and it's shutting down. there was a kid when I was in grade 7 that choked a former student and he/she/it (I don't stereotype) is BACK! NOT A SAFE SCHOOL! the school is shutting down supposedly in 9 months. I wouldn't be surprised. graduating class of 2.
Ok let me describe this awful school for you. This is not a school you wanna go to. I WOULD not recommend this in a million years. The teachers are rude and disrespectful. You might think \oh it's just teachers\ but no it's not. I was at this school from half of grade 3 to grade 6. Grade 5 and 6 were the worst. And that's because the teachers. I couldn't stand being in the school anymore. There are lots of bullying there. And plus about 2 to 10 people leave a year. I was bullied the whole time I was there. And I was also threatened and choked last year. The bullying won't STOP there. Trust me. I know the people there and the school so just ya. The teachers don't even do anything about what students tell them. They don't even have a school nurse. They don't believe students sometimes. I'm so glad I left. A big weight has been lifted off my chest and I feel a relief form not being there. I was not happy there. Please don't make a mistake like me. Don't go to Collins bay Public school.
