We were visiting Collingwood for a couple of days. It was a gorgeous sunny but cool day and we just decided to visit Collingwood Arboretum to end off our day. Great trails, tons of information on planted trees, a beautiful nature park right in the city. It's just sad that some people visit this beautiful place yet don't respect the grounds by throwing their garbage there. Plenty of free parking.

A beautiful place to spend an evening with family. Lot of open space and less crowded. So no need to worry about social distancing in these times. There are also restaurants nearby. Parking was also not a problem.

There is much to see and do here. There are beautiful pathways, trails, a lovely boardwalk which leads out to a lookout onto Georgian Bay. If you are a bird lover, you'll enjoy the array of birds from swans, to egrets and almost everything in-between. Early morning walks and sunset walks are a popular time, with outstanding photo opportunities.

It's a nice park! No playground but there's a lot of grassy areas and trails. Perfect for bike riding. There's a little water front too with a hut at the end of the boardwalk. Quite beautiful and calming. There are a few trees and plants.
