I called and spoke to Steve, he told me to take some photos and send them to be reviewed. This was done. I never heard anything back, I tried to call the office, no answer and then I tried texting Steve again and also got no response. So I went with a different company, one who responds to their customers. I won't hound a business to spend my money. All the best and I hope other customers have better service.

I hired Steve/Alpine Chimney to do a restoration on the original fireplace of a century home my husband and I had purchased, in Collingwood. Steve was great to work with! A couple of visits were required to establish the scope of the work for WETT certification and both my husband and I were fully confident in understanding what the process would be. A visit to the States for my husband's business, required us to leave town for a few days which gave Steve four full days, including the January 1st holiday, to do the work without us being here He stayed in touch with us while we were away and sent some pictures to show how the work was progressing. He also called us on facetime to explain a few extra challenges he had encountered along the way. Given the age of the home, we knew we needed to be prepared for some unforeseeable issues. Returning to Canada meant a 14 day quarantine and Steve asked me to text him with our approximate arrival time, into Collingwood. He stopped by the house right before we got home and had a fire burning for us on our arrival! He had even picked up the specific logs needed for the first several fires and had a bottle of wine and two glasses on the coffee table when we walked in. We were thrilled to see the fire burning safely away and amused by his thoughtfulness at the little extra touch of wine waiting for us. I would enthusiastically recommend Alpine Chimney to anyone requiring Steve's services!
They did a great job at restoring our old fireplace and making it safe. I recommend Steve and his son. They work efficiently and know their stuff!!!
