I do not recommend wasting your time and money on filing a complaint with this self regulating college. In my experience, this college demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, integrity, morals, respect for the Health Professions Act, patient safety, or in working collaboratively with me to find a suitable resolution to my grievance. Their investigation indicated that college members are under no legal or moral obligations to call 911 when a patient under that members immediate care has suffered a serious, life altering, treatment related injury. No duty to help alleviate human suffering by calling for medical assistance. Think about that. Protect the due paying member, not the public. I would suggest that this college seriously rethink the way it conducts it's business.

I have my physiotherapy qualification from Australia and had to get credentialed in BC. During which- I had to swim through a plethora of bureaucracy. CPTBC were by far the most organised and helpful. I wish I could say the same about other allied health and physiotherapy organisations. Thank you for treating me like an individual rather than a file/number.

Whenever I call the College, the person in charge is on holiday!! And today when I called for Olga, her voicemail said she will be back on 21st which is today!! But still not in the office. So, her voicemail said talk to Admin assistant- Loretta for assistance. The most pathetic and inefficient assistant I have ever talked to. She said Olga will be back on the 28th! She doesn't know the process and asked me to do what Olga told me in the email. I asked her simply how i can pay the fee for incorporation. Unable to get any clear answer for this either. She asked me to mail the docs and cheque. I told her this will take time and I need it ASAP. So, can you charge me on credit card over the phone. She said cheque is the best way plus it can't be done until Olga is back. I never get anything done right away with CPTBC. Still Olga is very nice and helpful plus she knows almost everything. BUT it doesn't mean other people will just leave the tasks for her to come back and finish. Loretta was not only inefficient but disrespectful as well. She should know that she is talking to professionals and has to be really good with communication skills at least !

Frustrating, disappointing, Hitler like Dictatorship, what more need be said of an institution which does NOTHING to serve its members except for overly regulate them, disavow licences, pretend to practice public safety by increasing cost of membership and fill their pockets perhaps? The CPTBC interim program is a joke, the RCA is a joke, not a single member would support the CPTBC if it were not for their dictatorship like rule and hard stance on any and all regulatory issues

Timely, straightforward communication on the phone and via e-mail from CPTBC every time.
