STAY AWAY...What a scam. Booked a test for IELTS for citizenship. Got a confirmation saying it’s a general test as Academic is not accepted. When I got to write my test I’m told it was booked for Academic. Even though I have a confirmation they tell me it’s not valid and I have to rebook and pay another registration fee. What a scam. No one answers calls...just email saying they’re right I’m wrong pay another fee. Got absolutely. Nothing for my money. Government allows these guys to run this scam. Make testing mandatory for citizenship so we have no choice. Then they can just charge whatever they want. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!

It has been worst experience to sign up with them. I sign up for ilets test with them in June but due to COVID 19 it keep postponing which I understand finally I decided to cancel my registration with them in mid September as other centers were conducting ilets but they were still postponing. They emailed me saying they will issue the refund in 5 weeks and its over 11 weeks now and they haven't processed any refund yet. I am so frustrated and don't know how to get my refund from them. Please advice if anyone in same situation for how to get the refund from them.
These guys are bunch of fraud ppl. They usually cancel the exam just a week before the scheduled date and will take forever to refund your money. Beware of this ielts examination institution.
I had a very poor experience taking IELTS with Canada College. About a month and half ago, I applied online to take a General Training test at the Vancouver location. After paying the fees, I did not receive a confirmation email right away. I kept on refreshing my profile page, which indicated at that time that I hadn't paid. Only until the next day I received a payment confirmation email (thank goodness I didn't attempt to pay twice). The confirmation email also didn't state the test time slot that I signed up for. Fast forward to the week of the exam, I was caught my surprised THREE days before the test that the speaking component of the test was to be held a day before the test date that I signed up for. I called Canada College, and they told me that it was written in the terms and conditions that the speaking test will take place 1-2 days before the other tests, which I should have known. They advised me to write an email back to them for a potential reschedule after I informed them that I might not be able to reschedule my work for the test at such short notice. I wrote the email immediately, included \URGENT\ in the subject heading, and did not hear back from them at all. Thankfully I was able to reschedule my work for the speaking test. I spoke to another test taker on the test date, and she too found that the application process could be improved. There was another test taker who did not receive email notifications for the test at all! They only found out because the test administrator called to see if she could take the test earlier as they were running ahead of schedule. Canada College, please look into these issue to make the test application process smoother. Thank you.
Excellent examiner and administration on the day of exam. Very convenient to access the exam site (UBC downtown Vancouver). Speaking might be on Friday which could be a good thing for some people.
