ROAD TRIP MOTIVATION

I went to this small campground two times.. People on the campground are just too sweet to be true! It was extremly pleasant to go to that campground! I will go again for sure..

Roadtrip. June 2017. Objectively campground seen better times and needs a lot of maintenance. Subjectively, if you like camping you might like this one. A lot of vegetation, tranquility (besides some random passing trains which are a bit loud), moths and butterflies are pretty unique and beautiful, picturesque swan lake and friendly owner. We saw a lot of trailers, but barely seen any people there, most of trailers were empty. Many lots have water and electricity. One of the most memorable camping along our trip. Something mystic is going on there too. Our faded fire flashed brightly at 00:00:)

It's a small family run campground with mostly seasonal campers and few who were just there for a week or a weekend (like us). There's a nice pond with swans and geese but unfortunately it also breeds a legion of mosquitoes, so be prepared for that. Both the campers and the family who run the place are very friendly, seemed to be a lot of dogs there (all friendly and well behaved too). I'm sure there must be a washroom there but we didn't see it all weekend so I can't tell you about it (there were a couple tenters so there had to be one, right? Just so strange we couldn't identify one when we were walking our dogs). Full hookup sites available. Decent cellular service.
