This place has great character. Good food, nice drink selection. Great service The mushroom soup was fantastic, fries are delicious. The chicken and dumplings was really tasty (it inspired us to grill some veggies for dinner!). The chicken strips were tasty, but the panko breading was a bit greasy and a bit too crunchy for our liking. We'll definitely be going back.

Sadly it closed down recently. My girlfriends and I enjoyed a girls night out there in November and were looking forward to returning. Food was good and the service was ok. It was a really busy night when we arrived but they got us a table quite quickly. We didn't get to try their Sunday morning brunch, but would have liked to.

So sad to hear it closed down. Was my favorite place to hang out and drink happy hour beers. A huge loss to Cochrane. :(
Food was excellent. Kids burgers and tomato avocado bennies were particularly good. Unfortunately, one member of our party never received the tomato soup that he ordered and when he told the waitress to just cancel it, she was rather short with him. It detracted from the overall good experience.
I like the location, menu is pretty good and the beer is superior, but the waitresses (only female) must wear skirts - and not sure ... but all the attire is pretty tight. So I won't be returning until you change that! My discretionary spending dollars won't support that kind of "BS" (or "passive aggressive masochism", if you prefer to be more politically correct term). Good luck joining the 21st century in my Canada, where the population is aging and more than 50% of it will be female :-)
The salads are amazing! Friendly staff. We bring our four kids there for supper and they love watching the pizzas being made while we wait
