So this year we signed our son up for fall rep soccer season. He played last year and really enjoyed it. Sadly this year due to Covid and cost it wasn’t looking like it would be affordable to sign him up but the club came out with a quarterly payment plan. So under the assumption that we would be able to pay quarterly we signed him up. Payed our first instalment and everything was going good. Out of nowhere on Friday (oct 9) we get a charge of 425? We emailed the league and Carina Steer who is the club registrar informed us that now that the league has moved into “phase 2” of their Covid plan they would be charging for the full season. There was no email sent out to inform families of this. After contacting Carina we were basically told “too bad”. This is our second time dealing with her and both time’s she has been rude and not helpful what so ever. We were provided a link to “help” answer any questions we had. On that web page there is a section that clearly states “all fees will be the same as the fall 2019 season”. So why am I paying 570 when last season was only 450? Her reasoning for this was for health risks due to Covid. There is absolutely no mention of this on their website or the registration form. So because of all of this we have decided to pull our son out of the league and we will never do business with them again. I also fully plan on making it known through my community that they pull this sort of stunt and make no apologies for it. It feels sneaky and just wrong the way they went about this whole situation. Especially consider families specifically signed up because of the payment plan. Get your act together Coastal FC.

Refuses to give full refunds even when they are unable to provide what you signed up for. If you sign up for spring soccer, and you can't offer spring soccer, give people back their money. Not this club, stay away
Good club BUT why do they let GotSoccer website publicly post photos of our children??? Yes, Google your child and there is their photo! This is a unspoken privacy violation
Registered my son, payment was nice and easy, after that nothing! No email notifying us about what time to show up what the schedule is or what number they want us to print on the shirt. Nothing. *Update same day I made this review I got a email notifying us about all we need to know... Website useless, no login to see schedule nothing.
No tryouts for rep teams. Poor communication. No use of decent scheduling app available for team communication.
