They were extremely kind to me, before the procedure I spoke with ,I'm not sure if she was a psychologist but she really made me feel better about the situation, didn't hurt one bit, however I am extremely sore now that the drugs ran off but the actual procedure was quick and painless.I got a mirena inserted as well.
Needed a pelvic exam and IUD removal just after the first wave of COVID-19. Was booked for an appointment in under a week. The appointment was incredibly professional, and social distancing was very well organized. The doctor gave me more information than I've ever been given at a gynecological appointment in the past. She did not rush me, and was very understanding of past trauma from other clinics/doctors. Entire appointment, including waiting time, was maybe 30 minutes or so. Very relieved to have been recommended this clinic by a friend. Going forward, I would recommend this clinic to anyone.
The absolute most amazing experience for IUD insertion. Their Covid protocols are thorough and impressive, very friendly staff. Dr handled my fear of needles(freezing) so well. Quick painless! They provide a heating pad throughout the procedure and offer sanitary napkins as well . I reccomend everyone go here for their IUD's
I had a sad experience, because they didn't provide me information about all my possible options. People there are nice, and the clinic is charming. My bad experience was related to the side effect of the surgery I did in Femina clinic. I got Asherman syndrome after the D&C done in this clinic and might not get pregnant again. I had to go there due to having a missed miscarriage, but the miscarriage happened on its own before my appointment. So I went there only to check and discuss my situation with a doctor. After an ultrasound the doctor told me only a part of placenta was still left in my uterus, and he did the D&C without discussing other options. They could give me some more time, or give me medication to help my uterus. I had a terrible consistent pelvic pain and cramps after the surgery for 10 days. I called them and complained and they said it's normal. Now after 9 month of going to many gynecologist, hospitals and doing different tests I realized I got the Asherman syndrome after the surgery there. I believe that their wrong decision caused this syndrome.
