The most amazing resort stay we have had in so many years! Al and Laura were such wonderful hosts and just lovely people to deal with. The cabin was spotless and comfortable...definitely had everything we needed. This lake is so clear and beautiful and the scenery...wow! Some of the best fishing we have had as well. If you are looking for MONSTER bass, tons of Walleye, Pike and even Lake Trout this place is for you. I also hired their recommended fishing guide Gary (off their website) for a day and he was an absolute blast to spend the day with...if you want to learn all the hotspots and put fish in the boat definitely hire him for a day...oh, and his shore lunch? Crazy Amazing! A must do. You won’t find a better resort, location, scenery and fishing all in one spot. Thanks Al and Laura.

Stayed there a couple of years ago. The newer cabin was nice and clean and had every thing that one would need. Al the owner seemed like a nice guy. I thought that his wife had a bit of an attitude and didn't really care for her. Had a couple of meals and thought that there was not much effort going into making what I had. I would not recommend having meals for a week not unless you want to lose weight and leave the table still hungry. Like I said the cabin was nice, fishing was good, Al was accommodating, meals sub standard.

I work there. Lovely fishing lodge with fantastic owners who happened to be also a couple: Al and Laura. Various type lodges, some more rustic than others, some bigger than others, some with kitchen, others with simply a small refrigerator. Depending on your plan, all meals are included. Most customers return year after year. There's a large screen TV in the big dining room where all three meals are served, adjacent to the dining room: a large cozy veranda with lots of seating overlooking the lake. Friendly staff (including me ) and warm atmosphere. Everyone is a friend there.

My wife and I were there for a week and it was great. Laura and Al were friendly and very accommodating. We booked for next year because we had such a great time.

After booking our trip for the end of May 2020 for a group of 10, the Covid-19 pandemic caused the unfortunate cancellation of our well-needed trip, which was clearly out of our control. With that said, Alan and Laura begrudgingly sent our partial deposit back and decided to keep an \admin\ fee for themselves. It is not the fee itself that is concerning but it's the clear lack of ethics and poor business practices that speaks volumes.
