Brilliant Experience! Can't wait to go back. We've been going to Circle W every season for the past many years. The cabins are cozy, private, and rustic. It's the best way to get away from it all!

What is not to love? After 25 years I made a return to Hi Hium. This was my first time at Circle W. The booking was really easy. Missy and Ron communicated every step of the way and set us up for a great trip. We arrived at base camp and after a tutorial from Ron on the boats, and our cabin, he handed us a map and a few of the flies that were working on the lake and told us where to fish. More on that later. This place is unreal. The cabins are well stocked and very clean. You can really tell that Ron and Missy spend a great deal of time on the grounds to make sure that everything is in order. The cabins are exactly what you would want in an off the grid experience. You know right away you are out in the middle of nowhere. The cabins are well stocked. The beds are comfortable and plenty big. You have everything you need. Ron stopped in on us a couple times to deliver ice and check on things. The boats are stable and roomy. Plenty of power to get around the lake and troll at slow speeds too. Now when you check in, there is one important step you dont want to miss: LISTEN TO RON ABOUT WHERE TO FISH!!! We didnt until the last day and that ended up being the day we caught the most fish. A nice surprise at checkout was hot coffee and home made muffins from Ron. Now for the other stuff. I encourage you all to immerse yourself in Hi Hium. Take a slow row around the lake. Hike the many trails. Sit down and ask Ron questions about the history of the lake. The man is a walking encyclopedia. His stories are awesome and I could have sat and listened to him talk for hours. We took 3 boys with us age 9, 11, and 15. Not once did we hear "Im bored" or "I want to play my x-box." They fished, built forts, tried to trap birds, skipped rocks, and roamed the woods. If you need to get away and want to experience something you maybe have never done. This is the place. I cant wait to go back.
