Passed by this hidden pastry place in Chinatown, all these for only 5, the owner is super nice and she told me that there were fresh made buns , so I tried the bbq one. Ur was really good as u can see the chunk of pork inside bun, not too sweet like the other places. I love it!

My favorite bakery in Chinatown. They have really good prices and a nice selection of fresh made Chinese and Asian pastry. They will also have seasonal items for different festivals like New year's. I always suggest to come to this bakery to support this kind of business instead of the larger chain bakeries like cocobun.

Great family-run shop with unique pastries, pork buns, etc. ; the best in Chinatown for decades.

One of the pastry place that people should know more about. Not on the main street but it deserve a stop to try chinese pastry. Far from processed chain food, you can expect everything made on the same day. It's maybe the only place in montreal where you can find moon cake and I have to say that they are very good. Worth the the stop for every occasion!!!

Best pastries of all the places I've tried in Chinatown. I try something different each time, making it well worth my visit! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try some traditional Chinese treats!

Chow's Pastry Shop is perhaps the bakery for a Chinese bakery skeptic. Those that have noticed that most bakeries sell cookie-cutter clones of the same Westernized baked goods; you know the ones. So while there are no coconut cream buns here (some may breathe a sigh of relief), there's a selection of pretty traditional pastries that you're not likely to find anywhere else. It's as old-school as it gets, with goodies like sweet jellies, moon cakes, bean-stuffed flaky pastries and sesame balls. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Delicious sweet buns and cookies. I love their coconut buns, pork buns and lychee jello. Prices are cheaper than Cocobun or Harmonie bakery. The owners of this small mom and pop shop are passionate about their baking. The place looks unassuming, but the treats are great
