Spent two weeks at Chopra center and I believe it has changed my life for the better. I struggled with alcohol and depression. The staff are fabulous and accomodations are the same. Your days are filled with group talks and counselling, massage, acupuncture, walks and just plain good stuff. The food is great, scenery great and the property is acres of rainforest

I spent 6 weeks at the Chopra Center in 2020 after a challenging breakup .During my 6 weeks I experienced a sense of safety I had never before felt. The support staff and facilitators are wonderful. The property is beautiful. It was a lifechanging experience that I belive would be beneficial for anyone.

Amazing place. Wonderful, kind caring and professional staff. Outstanding meals. The whole experience is highly personalized for each individual. Years later I am still using the tools learned here. Meditation and yoga (thank you Celeste!) have become a major part of my life and my lifestyle/diet has never been better thanks to The Chopra Centre. Can not say enough positive about this place. Highly recommend.

Last year I suffered some trauma that left me exhausted. I prefer to take a holistic approach to my pre-existing struggles with depression and anxiety. I simply just could not get back to my routines such as yoga, meditation, holesome food, healthy community and physical activity. The Chopra Centre jump started my good habbits with a gentle, non-clinical approach. The staff was so supportive and I am honoured to refer to them as friends and I built lasting relationships with other alumni. After care, especially during covid, has been especially appreciated as well. I live on the opposite coast and they are very accomidating and generous with online sessions. Chopra is the best thing that has ever happened for my health along with an open and willing heart. If I could I would attend once a year. Extra perk: the atmosphere is beautiful, cozy and has a feeling of home and I believe Squamish itself to be a secret gem of healing and magic. Also, best food I've ever had! I'm forever grateful and left with a heightened sense of hope and optimism that doesn't seem to be fading. Thank you Chopra team!

My experience at the Centre was life changing. I arrived a lost soul, alcohol had beat me down I was full of fear and had lost hope. During my stay I did a lot of tough ugly work with the amazing staff. I found my spiritual connection and a new outlook on life. The food was amazing and the staff was incredible. My experience changed me so much that I sent multiple family members to help find their flame!!

I am now over 9 years abstinent from all mood and mind altering substances. The 30 days in 2012 during which I was a client at the Center were undoubtedly a high point in my recovery journey. Every part of the program was engaging and facilitated by extremely professional and well trained staff. From the time we awoke to early morning yoga and meditation followed by an amazing vegetarian breakfast the day flowed with an energy that seemed sometimes magical. Eight years later I can still recall the joy of eating some of the best food I have ever tasted. The empathy and connection with staff members, the muscles and flexibility that resulted from twice daily yoga, and most of all the healing I and others experienced as we developed a relationship with ourselves and each other. A seed was planted there that has grown beyond my wildest dreams. Today I am taking university courses on addiction, mental health, and social work, and for the past 5 years have worked in a treatment center in my home town. I saw what was possible at The Chopra Center and it awakened in me the desire to help others as I had been helped. I am forever grateful for the opportunity that was provided to me there, for the staff who helped to guide me in a direction that changed my life, and for the serenity I have obtained through the practices I was taught.
