Old Yale Brewing Reviews | Rating 4.6 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Old Yale Brewing is located in Chilliwack, Canada on 44550 S Sumas Rd #404. Old Yale Brewing is rated 4.6 out of 5 in the category brewery in Canada. Located near the gateway to the pristine and breathtaking Chilliwack River Valley, our home gives us a fresh perspective - a perspective that not only shapes who we are but also how we approach the craft of making great beer. Since our start in 1999, we’ve always stayed true to our roots; seeking perfect balance using the finest, all-natural ingredients combined with Canada’s best drinking water. Our entire award-winning line up - from the crisp, straightforward Knotty Blonde Ale to Canada’s best beer, Sasquatch Stout - is made to reflect this balance and is inspired by the landscape that surrounds us. We believe the story of our hand-crafted beer can’t be fully told using words alone. The beer’s story has to be experienced, one sip at a time. We only brew beer that we love to drink, so when it comes to telling our story, we let our beer do the talking.

Awesome outdoors seating and a great menu all year! The Mango Wheat is a superb draft, we even hot some to go. 2 flights for 20.

Went here in the summer and WOW this is one of my favorite breweries I've been to in BC. Super big patio that was dog friendly, a food truck, and damn the beer is JUICY. The Mango Wheat Beer is so good- favorite beer i drank in all of 2020 hands down.

A local radio station asked the question: \What is the best small local brewery?\ And this one came up lots. The other day while watching hockey I was offered a beer from here and enjoyed it so I decided to come and check it out in person. The outdoor picnic table atmosphere was cool that is also very pet friendly. I sampled a flight and also brought some home too. I would definitely come back and maybe try their food truck as well.

Beer here is pretty good and it's nice they allow dogs in the tasting room. My biggest issue was the food, which is WAY too overpriced and not great. Ordered the duck fat fries, which was 12.50 for a tiny portion of literally 9 potato wedges, which were undercooked and soggy. All other items were also overpriced (average 20 for sandwiches is not reasonable). Will buy their beers again but don't recommend eating there.
