I took the firearms safety course. I had never handled a firearm before taking this course. Ken created a great atmosphere for students with all levels of previous knowledge. People that really deeply understand a subject are the best at condensing the essential ideas, and providing you with the proper base of knowledge. He made it simple so it’s not overwhelming. This applies to the laws and regulations, the physical motions of handling firearms, the knowledge of the mechanical parts of the firearm, the physics of the ammunition, awareness of surroundings and your own mental calm when handling firearms. I’m really glad I took this course from ken. I believe ken set me up with the framework to be confident and safe, and that makes it easier to gain experience, and learn more. If you are new to firearms, take the course from someone who has 100 years of experience. Sorry ken, you’re not THAT old. He’s also pretty entertaining and great at helping you get your application paperwork in order. Great class.

Ken was an amazing instructor! I came into his class knowing virtually nothing about guns and feeling a little apprehensive. After spending two days with Ken, I can honestly say that I feel comfortable and confident in all aspects of gun safety and ownership. He delivers the content clearly with some great personal stories mixed in. The two days were very informative and fun. Thanks Ken
A great informative experience all around. Ken is knowledgeable easy going dude. I Highly recommended taking some time for the courses he has to offer. These are very useful life skills. I will definitely be recommending to my closest friends and family. What are you waiting for!!
Very detailed and focus more on safety gun handling. I certainly recommend Ken for his knowledge and expertise in firearms safety and to teach individual on how to protect themselves and others when handling firearms.
This was a great course with a great instructor! Ken knows his history, guns, and hunting. I highly recommend his course to anyone with or without experience. If your fortunate enough to attend, go in confident and ready to learn. Remember to keep finger off the trigger and firearm pointed down range.
