I try my best to support local businesses but I will no longer be shopping here. Before covid, I bought a wooden log for my 5G fish tank and the manager said to soak it in water for a couple days “in case there's any dye”. I soaked it for 3 months and the dye was still leaking out. Today I made a trip to get a store credit on the log (they don't do full returns). I live with high-risk individuals so I haven’t done any non-essential trips until recently which I explained to the lady after she pointed out how long ago I bought it, she replied, “well we never closed”... I told them I wasn't informed that the dye doesn't come out and they defended themselves claiming that some people like the 'tea-bag' water colour... They also said I could use it for reptiles (I don't have any) or give it to a friend. In all, I wasn’t bothered so much by not being able to return the log as I was by their sneaky lies to sell items and the managers unfriendly attitude towards customers. I’ve had much better experiences at PetSmart and they are always polite to their customers.

Great place, everyone is nice there and always so helpful. Since you can't go in and I needed to see a bunch of items the lady just kept bringing it to the door to show me. Very helpful. Will always go here over any other place! Anytime you ask them questions they always have answers for you if not they find the right answers. Most helpful store in Chatham and so patient cause everytime I go i always have so many questions and whatnot and they just answer everything with a smile and laugh and joke around. Perfect place for any pet owner to go. Just wish they would let me buy their Parrot I would love to have him

This is an amazing store! It has very kind staff and all the little creatures you need! If they are not in, it only takes a short period of time to get your pet! This store is well run and I will continue to shop here. Thanks for all of you hard work through this hard time and giving us a gift of happiness when we get our new pets.
