It was a beautiful Christmas evening fundraiser and the donkeys are so peaceful to visit as they came into the barns for the evening. The volunteers are friendly and the owners are amazing! These lovely creatures are being cared for so well and every donation helps, if you can!

What an amazing place! They are doing such great work here. Helping donkeys by giving them a beautiful place to live out their years with lots of friends and love. Plus you can pet donkeys! The best.

Went for the Christmas event, the barns were lit with Christmas lights, there was a campfire outside, hot chocolate and soup. A really nice adventure. The Turtle Valley area is really scenic. Donkeys looked happy, and we saw some bonus goats too.

What a great place! Such a great thing that they do there, providing sanctuary for these wonderful, beautiful, gentle creatures. You can tell that the people who run it have truly good hearts and care for these animals as if they are their children. I was really impressed at both the quality/cleanliness of the facility and the number of animals there. Everything was clean and well maintained and on the day I went through they had 119 donkeys on the farm and 16 more in foster care. That's a lot of donkeys!! Having only met a few donkeys before this, it was a real treat to have the opportunity to interact so closely with them. We learned so much about them while we were there as well which a real bonus for us. This was completely worth the 4hr (round trip) drive to get there and I can't wait for a chance to go back again.

This awesome family does some amazing work. If you're in the area I definitely would find the time to make for a visit. And open up your wallet too. It's an unusual but excellent cause. Strongly recommend.
