Worst company ever. It's a shame that hard working Canadians who are trying to get ahead are being scammed and conned by a company such as this. Would give it zero stars if I could. Be careful giving them your credit card info. You'll be signed up for automatic withdraw for "monthly credit monitoring" and can only cancel by phone.

Should have read the fine print, or at least the reviews of this company, before I started dealing with them. Paid for one month of their credit check service to get a good look at my credit history, received a receipt via email, and was totally happy with it. Turns out they continued charging me for several months after that, too, without any email notifications, any receipts, or providing me with any useful service. A glitch on their website meant that I couldn't even access my account on their website to cancel the 'subscription' or even use the 'service' that they'd been charging me for all along. Finally called them up and the representative would not cancel my subscription. I had to repeat my request over and over like a broken record while the representative completely ignored me and refused to cancel my subscription until the 8th or 9th time I asked. Don't deal with this company, it's not worth it.

After applying for a Tangerine CreditCard product I was introduced to TransUnion, as they are who they do business with. This is a very poor credit monitoring agency with foreign telephone operators who cannot communicate clearly in English. I have had many previous credit cards with no outstanding balances and TransUnion was unable to find anything on my credit file while EquiFax was, even after providing my SIN number to TransUnion they could not obtain my information in their systems. I find it appauling companies would use TransUnion as a form of verifying credit, as they hold an awful reputation when you google them. On the phone they suggested I purchase their 22 package to view my credit history; but I pointed out they were not even able to provide me with a Consumer Disclosure after giving them all of my personal information, including my SIN as per their ocs.transunion website so I refused to do business with them. Hopefully Tangerine will drop TransUnion as a client, as their service is awful, and they only have 1 star reviews on their products. This is a potential scam company that has a reputation of ripping off customers on their packages.

Same problem as the other reviewer. You sign up to view your credit report, but what you're actually signing up for is "Credit Monitoring" which is a recurring monthly fee. You cannot cancel the service via the website and your only option is to call in to cancel. You greeted by a hostile person who seems to be reading objection scripts on why you should keep the product. Cancelling on the day the charge occured will not be reversed, so your stuck being charged for 2 months of "monitoring", when all you wanted was the report. The website has changed significantly and does not offer one time credit report products. I would recommend using Credit Karma if you need a free credit report. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE FOR A CREDIT REPORT. YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH NO WAY TO REVERSE THE CHARGES.

Be careful. They want to steal money from you. if you purchase for one month subscription, they will automatically renew the subscription for the month after it without notifying or mentioning in their website. They already steal 16 CAD from me.
