This has been a rather difficult time for me with my father passing away, and it was the third Funeral Home that we have visited. Glad that we went with Chapel Ridge for the funeral arrangements as we had our appointment with Matthew Policicchio Funeral Director. He was compassionate yet professional and went over and beyond in meeting our expectations. He took care of all the arrangements and services that required a lot of attention to detail. He truly went out of his way to coordinate documentation, live virtual stream and overall coordination with everything that was involved. Matthew has great customer service and was consistently able to promptly communicate with us and take care of all our necessary needs and requests in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure to coordinate things with Matthew and have him on our side to assist in a time of such great need. We couldn't have gone through this fragile experience without having Matthew by our side. Matthew is sympathetic, carrying and a person that is able to execute requests based on competing time-lines and various deadlines. I recommend Matthew in a heart beat. Thank you kindly for everything during this difficult time.

There are few things in this world that can hit you harder than the death of a loved one. When my mother passed, I reached out to Chapel Ridge and they could not have nicer. Everyone I dealt with was extremely understanding and caring, and once I gave them the go ahead, they handled everything. They were able to bring her remains back to Markham, and made the process of making funeral arrangements easier than I thought possible. They knew what questions to ask, listened to what I wanted, and were able to suggest options I did not think possible. To accommodate those that could not be there, they were even able to arrange live streaming. The execution was flawless and a very comforting experience for all. I could not imagine anyone doing a better job. Thank-you Chapel Ridge!!
Chapel Ridge is a very warm and caring place for those who have lost a loved one. Our family has attended many services there and we have been very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and their caring attitude. It takes special people to give the right feeling during a time when people are hurting. Chapel Ridge staff knows when to interact, when to help and when to give space. The facility is warm and very unlike many older dark places I have attended. When I needed help arranging things for one of my relatives, they made it straightforward,with no pressure and as simple as possible. They made a difficult time easier with the way they cared for me.
My family and I used Chapel Ridge for my fathers viewing/service and cremation. Neil took my original call and he was really pleasant but it was Matt who helped us through the entire process. He was nothing short of amazing. He was sincere, kind, organized and extremely helpful. I probably sent him three dozen or so emails in just a short amount of time and he always responded promptly. I was referred to use them from my best friend and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my circle of family and friends. Thank you kindly
Our family used the services of Chapel Ridge Funeral Home this past week for the visitation and funeral of my mom, Mary Tucker. Alex Elder, who was the funeral director we worked with, did an outstanding job of shepherding us through this difficult time. He was kind, thoughtful and most professional to work with. From arranging the room advance of the visitation, through the service and to the graveside, Alex and his colleagues left no details to chance. All the staff involved went above and beyond to be helpful. (Janice (another if the Chapel Ridge team), thank you for your involvement during the service playing the piano. It was beautiful.) A heartfelt thanks to all at Chapel Ridge who assisted this week.
