We have been so happy with this school for our youngest son. He enjoys attending, is learning lots and it is very well run. The staff really care and have been wonderful for us to deal with. Our child is very excited to attend and we have felt he is in great hands!

Our child started at CEFA in beginning of Covid times, just after he turned 1 year. It’s a strange vulnerable time for everyone, but despite everything after the first months adjustment period into early learning at CEFA we have noticed the environment has such a positive affect on him. He gets nourishment in so many ways that alone as 2 working parents we may not be able to give him and we are so grateful. The principal at the school along with all his teachers really take pride in the roles they play, and he sees them like his aunties.

Our son loves it here, so much that on days that he’s not meant to go to CEFA he ends up walking there on his own if given the option! The teachers have been incredible, loving and going beyond what’s expected. The principal Christina is very friendly and professional, it’s always a pleasure to interact with her. We appreciate the daily reports we get via the HiMama app and we always enjoy seeing what our son was up to on a given day. Being an art-centric school, there’s lots of drawing, painting and creative activities but there’s also a good balance of outdoor, STEM and motor skill development. Having food provided for the students is a big bonus as we don’t have to prepare a lunch bag and they accommodate dietary needs such as vegetarianism. The special activities kids do have been fun, we especially liked their Halloween in-school pumpkin patch! When I walk through the hallways of CEFA, I see the art displayed by the more senior classes such as JK1 to JK3 and I’m inspired to think about what our son will be doing when he gets there. We’re happy to be part of the CEFA community and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to family and friends!

Given your comments we have wanted to reach out to you and have tried to find when you attended and all the pertinent information so that we can contact you about your experience. Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate you as a former family in our school. If you can please reach out to us at [email protected] we would like to hear from you. Regards, CEFA Coquitlam

Cefa definitely unholds their reputation for being soulless. They have given themselves a 5 start review and masked it as a response to a family that does go to the school! They aren't even trying to hide their dishonesty! I've got 3 kids that have been at 4 schools, and CEFA's practices are only best for their own interests. Got a death in the family, a divorce, or any other major life changing problems? The admin have no empathy or understanding and will not accommodate or take your family into consideration.
