We love staying at campgrounds run by Parks Canada. The facilities are some of the best around. All bathrooms were very clean and the showers had hot water and benches to keep your clothes dry. Power outlets in bathrooms were useful. We bought a seasonal park pass and were surprised by how inexpensive it is to camp with a tent before peak season. For a campsite and a bag of wood (which you get to fill as much as you want one time) we paid 28. The workers at the information center were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips and said if we found our site to be too windy they would switch our site easily. They also gave us advice for restaurants with good seafood in the area. The view overlooking the ocean was incredible. We will be staying here again.

This is a great park. There are a variety of sites and a great beachfront. We had a three way, pull through site, A97. This was a sufficiently roomy site with room for the slide (I recall some warnings regarding some sites being narrow). This site was close to a washroom and the laundromat. The washers were 2 per load and the dryers were 2 to start (but that was sufficient). There were about 6 washers and dryers. They had a pavilion where people could have group meals, it was close to the tent section and I imagine the tent campers use that area mostly. The campground was close to a lot of amenities including entertainment, shopping, Anne of Green Gables, golf and North Rustico.

A bit noisy from what we can only assume we’re generators running in the middle of the night. But he campground is beautiful. The bathrooms are spotless and the beach is amazing!! We really appreciated that part was roped off to protect the bank swallows. The sunsets were also to die for!! Can’t wait to come back.

Spectacular campground. Props to Parks Canada. Had everything one could need and more, including fantastic hikes. I recommend not doing the D campsites that are right along the water. There is no shade, no trees, and no blocking of wind. Anything past D050 should have all those though. All are still very close to washroom and beach and potable water

Excellent spot for family with young children. New and diverse playground with quick access to the bathroom. Wonderful beach access that rivals the main park beach. Beautiful water and sunset views. Lots to do in the parks and nearby in town.

Nice RV sites, full hook-ups, with trees! Very different than most RV campgrounds. Exceptionally clean, modern comfort stations and laundry facilities. Beautiful beaches and coastal dunes.

I have to be clear when saying my visit took place during my vacation. The camp sites a a bit small but very well kept. The services are the best that I have ever seen and beach access can't be easier. There was a tragedy that took place at the beach which ended someone's life.. Even with such missfourtunes, the staff pulled together and took care of everyone and kept a strong professionalism. I recommend this spot to anyone and everyone looking for the campground To go to. Best yet!

A wonderful place for family camping! We loved it! Heads up: Even-numbered sites in the D30s have the best beachside spots.
