We have stayed in the 5th wheel here and in 2 out of 3 cabins and love it. Kim and Wylie are wonderful and great owners . The cabins are spotless and its quiet . We will stay here every time he works out here , we look forward to it !

I have spent both an extended time in my trailer and a shorter stint in one of Wylie and Kim’s cabins. I was comfortable, welcomed, and had everything I needed right at my fingertips. Starting with the facilities, they are ample, clean, and easily accessible from anywhere in the park. Whether you are passing through, or staying for while, there is everything you need. In addition to the nice hot showers, a laundry facility, fully equipped RV sites, and wifi that is accessible from all of the sites, there is also a dog run and a sweet hiking trail that takes you up to the ridge overlooking the whole valley, and nice spot to check out the rivers and mountains all around. The campground is also conveniently located for work or play. You can easily get into town, and most of the stores and restaurants within 10 minutes. All of the delivery places I tried while staying here could deliver without any issues. If you’re in town for fishing, getting down to any of the boat launches on the Columbia is a breeze. You don’t have to worry about dragging your boat through town, as highway, which a tree line nicely blocks from the sites, gets you right onto any of the highways that pass around town. If you’re here to ride, The Merry Creek trails are a five minute coast down the road. On top of all this, Kim and Wylie are awesome hosts, and they maintain an amazing campground and RV spot.

Castlegar RV is conveniently located near the trailhead of Mr. Green Jeans and Captain Kangaroo - 2 of the best mountain bike trails in the entire region. Very friendly staff and nicely kept grounds. Would definitely stay here next time we’re through town. Thanks again!!

Not happy with the service here. Warning to other RVers when you go online to book and they show availability they are NOT actually updating their system regularly at all. Even though their system shows what's available and they take credit card info online for deposit you THINK you're all booked but you're not!! We booked 8 nights over a long weekend, gave them credit card info, received an email with booking ref etc. showing our reservation is secured only to have them email us two days later saying sorry they have no availability. Super annoying as we now are left stranded without a place to park ourselves for long weekend. Very bad system and process and the man I spoke to was not much help to find an alternative solution someway given it was their error.

Clean, cosy and comfy miners cabin. Great beds. Hot showers. All the basic kitchen conveniences with a large fridge. Great value.

Lived there for two years while I went to college. Loved it there. Had a great time. Made many friends and had many community fire pits. Not your average RV park. There are hiking trails out back and mountain bike trails just down the road. Owners are fabulous and very friendly. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for about a week, the owners were very nice and helpful when needed and fit us in with such short notice... everything was working it had everything you needed.. laundry, internet and garbage was all organized... I would definitely recommend... short drive to town... if we’re ever back in the area we will be staying here again for sure!
