terrible experience - owner definitely overcharges. i bought one medium sized purple carrot for 2 (there was no price) and all the vegetables looked flimsy and felt older...stay away, there are better places in that area. i just happened to go there because it's right across the street from sanagan's.....
Be careful when buying here. Check the prices the guy tries to charge you for and always get your receipt from him. He might try to overcharge you, like he did us.
I hate giving a bad review, but buying there ruined my dinner plans and I feel a warning is necessary. I have been there twice now and both times the fruit was bad. First time I assumed it may have been bad luck. Second time, I peeled an orange and it was rotting on the inside. There are way better stores nearby for fruit and vegetables where this has never happened. If you must buy there, check what you're buying carefully and choose wisely.
TERRIBLE experience here. I'd give negative stars if I could. Went in here to buy some fruit, and they were overripe and on the border of becoming rotten. I picked up some fruit to inspect (as any normal person does at any grocery store), and the owner came up next to me and started yelling and swearing (yes, swearing) at me for touching the produce. Not something you'll want to experience while buying your groceries. Do not support this business.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!! This is the worst experience ever, the guy who runs this store is a theif (he’s the guy who takes your order) I have been scammed here - the guy had the audacity to overcharge me a huge amount for some fruit and vegetables!!! I can’t believe!! I don’t know how he manages to change the amount without you seeing it on the computer and he also did not give me a receipt... after I found out about the price that was taken from me I thought of going back to the store to question him about the price but I read the review about him threatening people who do so I avoided that.. THIS IS THE MOST FRAUDULENT PERSON AND STORE IN THE WHOLE MARKET!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
A scam. The dude has the audacity to overcharge people, in a way that they might not even notice . Be very cautious.
