i love the ambiance! The casino made a great job moving their offer online. At least we still can play once in a while. It is nothing like being onsite though. Can't wait until covid is over so we can spend a night there!

I am visiting this place from last one year almost every month once, it's located in the island made on the river Saint Laurent, awesome way to reach here, well managed casino and one of the biggest casinos in Canada, people's loved to visit here and also it's a main tourist attraction too in the city. During covid it was closed but now they are open and they are taking entry through only the reservations, security is very tight you can put off your mast inside, stage by stage parking and entrance, in Rollet only 3 person's can play and they're not allowed to touch the chips, mainly I just wanna say the Casino is taking care with all measurements to spread Covid 19.
I never seen the casino this busy before!! The music entertainment and atmosphere was really good. I don't speech french but the dealers and staff were very helpful! A good time pass for your money.
Now I wonder why Montreal is well maintained and placed among the best places to live in the world. This casino is open 24/7/365 and collects a large amount of money and all of them goes to the public treasure, as this casino is a public entity. This facility is amazing by its size and audience. Most of the users are elderly people, at least at the time of my visit. There are few restaurants in the top floor.
Lots of slot machines & table/poker/black jack/ roulette games!! As for food, there is a buffet available upstairs which changes menu from time to time (can rsvp), fast serve area & an Asian side. I love how it gives so much options in everything! Food or games.. quite a big casino, can't complain. Live bands play on Friday & the weekends.
We went for a diner-show (Hollywood to New York). We went for a drink first in one of the two bars (only two bars!!!). The overall bar on the ground floor was reminiscent of the 70ies or an average cruise ship bar. It’s dated. Services was however nice and polite. Bottle of local sparkling was at a reasonable price. The show venue (the Cabaret) was very nice and modern. The diner was well timed, staff attentive, food good and good range of drinks and prices. The show was nice and well executed overall, but it was obvious that some of the dancers did not put the same level of effort as others. Great performance from trapeze/pole artist. Side note: still surprised that there is no accommodations on site or even nearby. Go visit Melbourne Crown Casino (we lived beside it a few years) to see how to monetize and expand your casino.
We went with reservation, 7 of us, played all kinds of machines. COVID spacing only like 10% machines are operating. ZERO PAYOUTS, SPENT LIKE 100-200 EACH, we had not even an inkling of any win on spins. Watched others and NOBODY is even getting a slightest chance, DONT GO. BIG LOOSE. only way for them to profit is if everyone that goes looses.
This casino holds a special place in my heart as it’s the first casino I have ever been to, back in 2006. It is the biggest casino in Canada, and seemingly by a good margin. They have a very different setup than other casinos, with gaming on many different floors. They usually have live music playing that can be heard throughout the casino and is even piped into the restrooms. The music seems to start in the evening. I was sad that they closed nuances, which was the french fine dining restaurant, which was amazing, but they replaced it with l’atalier de Joel Robuchon, which is even more amazing, although I wish they had a more traditional table set up instead of the bar. They have all the typical north american table games, although the minimums are higher than they should be, probably due to being the only game in town. My game is craps, and they are usually running 1 or 2 15 craps tables with 5x odds and a fire bet with a max bet of 50. It is usually hard to get a spot at the table at night as 2 tables isn’t enough during peak hours. The dealers are professional, entertaining and friendly. There are no free drinks when you are gambling in canada, but at least the bars are reasonably priced. They also have self serve beverage machines on every floor. Parking is very difficult as this place is popular and you sometimes have to go to their overflow lots which are very far and require a shuttle. There is also sometimes so much traffic you could be stuck for an hour trying to get to the casino. They also put the ride share drop off and pick up far away from the regular entrance where the taxis are, so its easy to get lost or miss your ride, you may also freeze to death if it’s winter. Overall a nice casino that could be great with a few tweaks.
