The installation job that this company has done was awful with low quality underlayments, rough job resulting uneven surface in parts. Significant spaces between floor plants are already showing a year after. - I appreciate your response Carpet Mill. The reason why I did not contact you for the issue was because the serious problems such as peaking and separating shows soon after the warranty period. A well done floor installation job should not have major issues such as those. You used the cheapest underlayment. At least offer your customers options to choose better - water resistant - underlayment. The new thin strip of the baseboard that you added on the existing baseboard is ugly and lazy! With proper tools, removing the existing baseboard is easy as pie - and again, you alter the design of the house by adding elements we did not ask for. What’s more - your installer did not bother move the small dresser to the side when installing the floor and left a gap that’s supposed to be covered by a baseboard which we only saw after moving the dresser away. This is my second time coming to this location for rugs (kitchen, living & bedroom) and as usual the Customer service was grand. My husband and I were amazed by the quality of the rug after 2 years, still going strong. We currently have a runner in the making with carpet mill. Thanks to Ali for his amazing customer service. SO MANY OPTIONS. Honestly they have so many different rugs and flooring choices at various price range. Items are also competitively priced. I found a rug here that was ridiculously marked up else where. When I entered the store someone greeted me and asked if I needed assistance right away. Within 5 mins I found EXACTLY what I was looking for and 60 less than another furniture store i had recently visited. Very pleased. The rug i bought is faux fur and its just something fun for the time being as it probably won't last long.... but they also have some amazing quality wool rugs that I want to check out for my next purchase. I will definitely recommend this place and also be coming back for my future rug needs.
In looking for carpeting for an irregular-shaped living room dining room combo, the personnel at Carpet Mill were helpful and resourceful in each step of the process. From sending us home with samples, to disguising connecting pieces, to binding extra remnants, all aspects handled with respect and care. We would certainly recommend them to friends.
