DIAGNOSIS: Money-in-pocketitis. This affliction is a cancer on good service. It occurs when sales staff that aren't hungry for sales lose their motivation to care about the needs and self-respect of existing and potential customers. One can see from others' reviews this business is really hit-or-miss for customer care, which makes me think twice about trying Custom Carts a second time. My first attempt was a fail - I couldn't even get a call back to get a simple answer to a straight-forward question. After reading a couple of one-star reviews for this business my gut feelings have been validated.

Stopped in to see about ordering a new magnet for my cart, at first Jeff was very helpful about locating the parts until he snapped my magnet right in front of me, no problem as I’m there to order a new one. Was told the part would arrive in about a week and that their delivery guy is on vacation for 3 weeks!!! Prime time for a delivery guy to be on vacation for 3 weeks during those busy times people want to use their golf carts....any ways I’m told they will UPS the parts I need which would fit in the palm of your hand....week after week I called and asked if the parts have shown up and got the same story...next week , call again the following week and get the same story....it’s been 5 weeks and no parts....the worse experience trying to get a small magnet and 2 little screws I’ve ever experienced....I hope they read this review and really understand how frustrating it is....they have lost a customer that is only 15 min down the road for life....so be aware and Oder the stuff you need on Amazon.... also the Carleton Place store doesn’t even do repairs....they send your cart to Trenton...find someone else....A Zero star would be better then the 1 date I was forced to give them
Disappointing experience. Went to purchase a custom electric golf cart from them and trade in my custom gas cart. Negotiated pricing up front, dropped a heavy deposit on it, spent two hours to drive there/back with my cart. Got the used car treatment when I arrived and they offered me less than agreed. The money (250) is irrelevant. Its the principle of honoring your agreement. If I needed a battery or other commodity part, perhaps you could shop there but if you're negotiating a trade in, beware. Everything flows through Trenton and faceless to the customer. The days of ethics and principles apparently are lost. And so was a potential customer. They don't care if I didn't buy the cart, it will sell fast. But much like that I'll find another cart dealer with a focus on good customer service to purchase my next one. Buyer beware, and don't think because its in writing it matters. Mine was and I still got treated poorly as a customer
Friendly and good knowledge of products and solutions. Jeff was just great.
Bought our snowmobile trailer from them. The staff is amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable.
