By far the best patties I ever had. 4 each but compared to all the 1 patty places it’s like comparing Swanson meat pies to a well made homemade meat pie, it’s not even close. The crust, the fresh spice mix, the meat, man they are good. I bought a box of 6 and it feels like it weighs 5 pounds

We adore everything about this place but before we tell you about the food we need to tell you about how we discovered Georgina's wonderful resto. We were huge fans of a Bloordale Village coffee shop called Holy Oak (which is, alas, no longer in business) and one day while sipping our coffee and people watching we noticed that a number of taxis were pulling up to a small storefront across the street. The drivers - all of whom could reasonably be surmised to be of Caribbean descent - would jump out, run into the resto, and emerge with their take-away bags. As this continued we made a vow that we were going to check out this apparent favourite. Once we did we never looked back. Georgina - the owner and chef - makes amazing food. And while the restaurant's name mentions the iconic Jamaican street snack one shouldn't miss her other Jamaican specialities. Her goat and oxtail dishes (whether roti or with rice and beans) are amazing, as are her jerk chicken and roasted pork offerings. Portions are generous (a platter of any of her rice and beans dishes always provides another meal the day after) and the food is consistently delicious. This is not a fancy place. Ambience is not what keeps us - and many others - coming back. This is a place where the focus in on the food, and on the love and passion with which it's prepared. It's possible to find equally authentic Jamaican food in Toronto, but it's impossible to find better. And in the end that's what matters.
LOVE LOVE LOVE her patties, food and her. I've been going here since 2011. When I used to live in the area, I'd come here once a week to buy them, even though I've moved a bit further, I still make the time to come here to pick up her patties. Her patties are INCREDIBLE. Whenever my friends are in town or I meet someone new, I always take them to her joint or recommend they go to her spot.
I've been eating at Queen Georgina's restaurant for years now, the food , all of it, is excellent, the prices reflect that, if you're looking for a 1 patty - wrong place, move on. Only the best ingredients and care in preparing them., you get what you pay for (hard pass on a 1 patty) all the menu options are fantastic and served up with a little sass and a lot or personality , that might not for some - but hold your tongue and taste the food !
Best patties. I like to order for special occasions. Definite crowd pleaser.
Homey Caribbean restaurant serving quick and affordable food. I enjoyed their beef patty that was sweeter than expected, but still delicious
The atmosphere is super cozy, like you are just about to come and put your feet up next to the fire while your mother makes you a bowl of stew. The beef patties are a staple and nothing else in the city holds a candle! (fight me ttc station stands)
A Bloordale classic. I swear she's plucking the chicken for the roti - as it took about 20 minutes to get 2 rotis and some plantain. I can't figure out why the process takes so long - I would give it 5 stars were it not for the inexplainable delays. I thought curries are stewed and ready to go, dropped into a hot roti, wrapped, and out you go. The Queen would double her sales, I'm sure.
